EXHIBITION: 11 Sep - 3 Nov 2026 (Tokyo)

An exhibition will be on view from 11 September to 3 November 2026 in the gallery on the 9th floor of Kyobunkwan bookstore in Ginza, Tokyo, featuring original watercolor paintings of autumn leaves by Kazuko Hirayama, published in a picture book, "Ochiba [Fallen Leaves]"(2001), with photographs and text by Eizo Hirayama.

Kazuko started painting autumn leaves in 1984, and in 1989 Eizo began producing a creative display of the works at their house in Kurohime, Nagano, one day each year, on November 3 -- as the "Museum of Autumn Leaves." This fall's exhibition in Ginza explores the two artists' art and collaboration around the beauty of autumn leaves.
