An exhibition at the Morinoouchi Picture Book Museum in Azumino, Nagano prefecture, Japan, will feature original paintings for 5 of Kazuko Hirayama's still popular picture books from January 24 to April 7, 2025. The exhibition will include all original paintings for her Tampopo [Dandelions, 1972], Yasai [Vegetables, 1977], Kudamono [Fruits, 1979], Onigiri [Rice Balls, 1981; co-authored with Eizo Hirayama], and Ichigo [Strawberries, 1984], with additional materials about the two artists' work.
